2009Around 2009, a team was involved in running various properties and had to repeat small tasks just to keep operations moving. They turned to existing property management systems to ease the workload, but the results were disappointing.
Why We Built Our Own System — and Found Our Answer in Salesforce
The systems were expensive and still did not get the job done. If anything, they added more work. So the team decided to build their own system. It was a strong start, but there was still more to solve. The product needed to keep up with changing operational demands, digital expectations, and long-term growth. That is when they found Salesforce.
Harnessing Salesforce to Build a Smarter Future
Salesforce had what was needed to stay ahead of digital change and support capabilities that generic management systems could not. After a year of learning and development, the platform was moved onto Salesforce to build on that strength.
Turning Innovation Into Impact
Once the team saw the completed product in action, they realized other businesses could benefit from it too. They decided to bring it to market and looked for a partner with strong values and long-term credibility. After seeing close alignment with Salesforce, they met with the team and entered into a partnership.
The Beginning of Booking Ninjas PMS
After considerable work, research, and analysis — together with a partnership with Salesforce — Booking Ninjas officially came to life in 2016.

David Michael-
The passion behind Booking Ninjas
As the founder and CEO of the world’s first PMS based on Salesforce, David has been helping businesses manage their properties with the best digital tools in the hospitality and real estate industry and loves finding out ways to make them better.
In 2009, he started a company while completing his MBA in Tel Aviv, Israel to help give travelers a better accommodation experience. While managing a small hotel in Tel Aviv, the way it was marketed and service kept guests coming back - this eventually grew the portfolio and led to the birth of Booking Ninjas.
He enjoys athletics and helping other people; he is also a big proponent of the 1-1-1-model and the concept of Marc Benioff improving the state of the world through business.
After looking at existing property management systems, David saw a clear gap between what businesses needed and what available software could deliver. His goal was to build a platform that gives organizations stronger operational control, better digital engagement, and more connected tools in one system, without requiring deep technical expertise. That is how Booking Ninjas began.
