Your First Steps
When you first land in the client portal, you may not know exactly where to begin.
That is normal.
The client portal is meant to help you continue the Booking Ninjas journey in a more organized way. It gives you a place to review materials, understand what Booking Ninjas is preparing you for, and see which actions may be available next.
You do not need to complete everything at once. Start with the basics, review what is shown to you, and move step by step.
Start by Understanding Where You Are
Before doing anything else, it helps to understand what the portal is.
The client portal is not the same as your Salesforce org. It is also not a full product setup environment.
It is a guided space that helps you learn, review materials, and prepare for the next stage of the journey.
If you are not sure what the portal is for, you may want to start with About The Portal first. That article explains why the portal exists and how it fits into the larger Booking Ninjas process.
Review the Main Information First
Once you are inside the portal, start with the main information or instructions shown to you.
This may include a short introduction, next-step guidance, demo-related materials, or available actions.
Read through the information carefully before clicking through too quickly. The portal is meant to help you understand what is happening and why each step matters.
If something looks unfamiliar, take a moment to review the explanation around it. You are not expected to know everything yet.
Look Through the Demo Materials
If demo materials are available, they are a good place to continue.
These materials may help you understand how Booking Ninjas works, what the platform can support, and how different parts of the journey connect.
You do not need to treat the demo materials like a full training course. At this stage, they are meant to support your evaluation and help you become more familiar with the platform.
As you review them, think about how the examples relate to your organization, your current setup, and the problems you are trying to solve.
Check Which Actions Are Available
The portal may also show actions you can take.
These actions may help you continue the process, review more materials, provide additional information, or move closer to requesting a Salesforce org.
Before taking an action, read what it is asking for and why it matters.
Some actions may be simple, such as reviewing information. Others may be more important, such as preparing for an org request.
The portal is there to help you move forward with more context, not to push you into the next step before you are ready.
Take Notes on What Is Still Unclear
As you move through the portal, it can help to note anything you still do not understand.
For example, you may have questions about what an org is, what Booking Ninjas can support, what information your team should prepare, or what happens after a request is submitted.
That is completely fine.
The portal is part of the evaluation journey, and the purpose is to help you build understanding over time.
Understand What the Portal Is Preparing You For
The portal is meant to help you become more prepared before the next major step.
For many users, that next step is learning whether they are ready to request a Salesforce org.
Before requesting an org, it helps to understand what the org is, why it matters, and what information may be needed. The portal helps organize that preparation so the request feels clearer and more useful.
What You Should Do Next
Start by reviewing the main instructions in the portal.
Then look through any demo materials available to you. After that, check which actions are available and decide what makes sense based on where you are in the journey.
You do not need to rush. The client portal is there to help you move forward with a better understanding of Booking Ninjas and what may come next.
