Portal Actions

Booking Ninjas Client Portal actions are prompts, links, forms, or next-step options that may appear during your evaluation. They can help you review information, provide additional context, continue your evaluation, or prepare for a later step.

The actions available can depend on where you are in the process and what information has already been provided. You do not need to take every action immediately. If you are not familiar with the portal itself, start with what the Booking Ninjas Client Portal is .

What Types of Actions May Appear?

Client Portal actions can serve different purposes. Most fall into one of four general groups.

  • Review information. An action may direct you to an explanation, resource, demonstration, or other material relevant to your evaluation.
  • Provide information. You may be asked to share additional context about your organization, current systems, priorities, or requirements.
  • Continue your evaluation. An action may help you move into another part of the Booking Ninjas evaluation process.
  • Prepare for a larger next step. In some cases, an action may help you determine whether you are ready for something more significant, such as requesting a Salesforce org.

Why Can Portal Actions Be Different?

Not every organization is at the same stage or evaluating Booking Ninjas for the same reason. The information and actions shown in the Client Portal can therefore vary.

For example, one organization may still be reviewing general platform information, while another may already be preparing additional business details or evaluating whether a Salesforce org is the appropriate next step.

Treat the actions currently shown to you as guidance for your present stage rather than as a fixed sequence that every Booking Ninjas prospect must follow.

How Should You Interpret an Action?

Before taking an action, understand what it is asking you to do and what purpose it serves.

Three questions can help:

  1. What is this action asking me to do?
Determine whether you are reviewing information, providing information, or moving into another stage.
  2. Why is this action relevant now?
Look at the surrounding information to understand how the action relates to your evaluation.
  3. Do I have enough context to take it?
If the action represents a larger step, make sure you understand what that step means before proceeding.

If you are still becoming familiar with the portal, return to your first steps in the Booking Ninjas Client Portal .

What If the Action Asks You to Review Materials?

Review actions are usually intended to give you more context before another decision or step becomes relevant.

Focus on the material that relates most closely to your organization, your current processes, and the problems you are trying to solve. You do not necessarily need to review every available resource at once.

If the action points you toward demonstrations, see how to review Booking Ninjas demo materials .

What If the Action Asks for Information?

If the portal asks you to provide information, focus on giving clear and accurate context rather than trying to design the final Booking Ninjas setup yourself.

The information may relate to your organization, current systems, operational challenges, priorities, or people who may need to be involved.

The amount of information needed depends on the action and your current stage. Follow the guidance shown in your portal rather than assuming that every request requires a complete technical specification.

Does Taking an Action Make Anything Final?

Not necessarily. The meaning of an action depends on what that action is designed to do.

  • Reviewing a demo does not mean your final setup has been selected.
  • Providing additional information does not automatically mean implementation has started.
  • Requesting a Salesforce org does not mean the complete environment is instantly created or finalized.
  • A next-step action may still be followed by review, clarification, preparation, or additional discussion.

What If the Action Is to Request a Salesforce Org?

If requesting a Salesforce org appears as a relevant next step, understand the purpose of the org before submitting the request.

Start with what a Salesforce org is if the concept is unfamiliar.

Then review whether you are ready to request a Salesforce org before moving forward.

What If You Are Not Sure Which Action to Take?

If an action is unclear, review the surrounding information before continuing. The purpose of the portal is to give you more context, not to make you guess.

You can also review what the Client Portal helps you prepare for to understand how the available actions fit into the broader evaluation.

What Should You Do Next?

Follow the action that matches your current stage and make sure you understand its purpose before continuing.

If your next action involves requesting a Salesforce org, continue to Are You Ready to Request a Salesforce Org? .
